PLEASE NOTE : This page is subject to frequent updates, changes, and additions. Please don’t copy the content; instead, provide a link back to this page so that anyone interested in more details can get the latest version of this page. If you’re looking for a specific driver, or if you’ve found a site that isn’t listed, leave a comment below and I’ll research and/or update the list.

The rules:

1. Only primary download locations (official sites run by hardware maker) are allowed. I don’t trust or recommend third-party sites that allow direct downloads of drivers.

2. Whenever possible, I’m linking to the information page or the search page rather than the driver file itself. Linking to the file runs the risk that you’ll grab the wrong driver, miss an update or a readme file, or bypass other important information that might be on the info page.

Be sure to check the Hardware Compatibility List to see if your device is officially supported under Vista. The list isn’t complete, but if you see that a particular device is Certified for Windows Vista, you can be a little more confident that you’ll find up-to-date drivers for it. Alas, the device pages don’t contain links to additional information or drivers. It does indicate whether a driver is included as part Windows Vista or via Windows Update (or both).

For all the listings here, you should be able to find a driver (or confirm that one is not available) by going to the manufacturer page listed here and searching for the model number or name of your device.
