Phat Matt (Matt Fletcher) has created an MCE wiki (a collaborative, community-based collection of content and links). You can view it here:

MCE 2005 – Windows Media Center Edition 2005 Resources.

Because it’s a wiki, anyone can add or edit content. Cool idea.

Update: Appears to be offline, perhaps permanently.

  • Thanks for the link Ed. I’m amazed how quickly it has been picked up. I only started it at 3 this morning, GMT.

I hope people will find it useful, I simply realised this morning that there is so much content being written about MCE 2005, but no real “hub” with links out to all the information. Well, certainly none that I found.

I ordered my new machine which will have MCE on this afternoon, so now I’m buzzing with excitement waiting for Friday to arrive.

  • Hi Ed and All, just to update you on the Media Center Wiki. I had to take it down as it was being spammed with dirty links.

I will be relaunching it in the very near future however and I’ll be sure to let you know when I do.
