I have been working at the municipal level for 8 years now and it seems that each year someone has to make something even more complicated. I work in the Urban Planning field and we used to take pride when we could write a report to Council that was no more than one page long. Not anymore. Most of my reports have grown to 2, 3 or more pages in length. All because my managers think we have to cover every &quot;angle&quot; and provide every bit of useless information, just to cover their behinds. Send me to Council, I&#039;ll answer their questions!</description>
