Troll of the week

Alas, ZDNet no longer allows me to link to individual comments. But this one was too good not to share:

Bonus points if you can decode that world-class gibberish.

  1. Ha! He probably meant to say “only a fool who doesn’t understand computers,” but I think he accidentally got it right in that last sentence anyway. ;)

  2. Well, I like to think that I understand computers. My job, after all, depends on it.

I currently use IE for about 80% of daily browsing (with Flash off). When I need Flash, I open up Chrome. Ironically, it was the inclusion of Flash that demoted Chrome from my primary browser to my secondary browser. It’s cleaner to run IE without Flash than to run Chrome without Flash.

Anyone who recommends Opera or Firefox is playing with fire. Chrome managed to implement Protected Mode in version 1. Firefox is on, what, version 72? — and they still haven’t done it. This isn’t 2007 anymore. It is simply inexcusable for a browser to run in Medium trust in this day and age.
