I’ve been checking daily since last week, and this morning I discovered that Media Center Edition 2005 Rollup 2 is now available for download if you’re registered as a Microsoft OEM System Builder.
The update is available in eight languages: Chinese (Simplified), English, Dutch, French,
German, Italian, Japanese, and Korean. Additional languages will be added later.
End users who have Media Center Edition 2005 installed should see the rollup package via Windows Update within the next few weeks.
I’ll download and install the update and let you know what I see.

Jim, go to the Settings dialog box from the Media Center menu, then click General, About Media Center, Software Version. If you have Update Rollup 2 installed you’ll see it under the version number.
